Having discovered it fairly recently, I'm so happy to have done so and follow it avidly :). not a lot of performance increase .. 3D CGI etc., gaming etc. Yesterday we published data form a leaked gaming review, where the card would only offer around 10% better performance over RTX 3080, which seems unexpected. The next step is to see if the RTX 3090 is being CPU limited by re-running all the benchmarks with an overclocked processor at 4K, 1440P, and 1080P as well. Ram 64GB VS 128GB. Where would they slot in the charts? Their drives have been insanely reliable for us, and that more than anything else is top priority for storage IMO. The GeForce RTX 3090 is not nearly as exciting as last week's RTX 3080 release, but as soon as Jensen said this was a Titan class product, we knew what we â¦ Adobe has been adding more and more GPU-accelerated effects and features over the last few years, which has made the GPU an increasingly important component in editing workstations. The Nvidia RTX 3090 debuted on September 1 alongside the RTX 3080 and 3070. Playback I imagine does show in your benchmark. Tons of cores (for the time), but the per-core performance was terrible. They both are certainly much faster than the AMD Radeon GPUs or the older GTX 1080 Ti, but this is a feature that has a fairly dramatic soft cap to GPU performance so there is less to gain as you go up in raw GPU performance.
